Official images of the Nike KD 17 “Metro Boomin” have surfaced, with a release date set for June 14, 2024, priced at $160.

The pace of new Nike KD 17 colorways is accelerating, with this latest design joining the “Producer Pack” series. This edition pays homage to Metro Boomin, particularly his 2022 album “Heroes & Villains” and the associated “Hearts On Fire” merchandise. 

Previous KD 17 designs have honored producers Bink! and The Alchemist, and now this pair further integrates Kevin Durant’s pastime with his signature shoes.

The shoes feature a striking “Atomic Violet” and “Hyper Grape” print, complete with lightning bolts at the base. Clear TPU overlays allow the vibrant design to shine through. A “Hearts On Fire” graphic adorns the right heel, while a purple “Leslie” signature on the left heel honors Metro Boomin’s late mother. The tongue features a nod to Metro’s 2018 album “Not All Heroes Wear Capes” with a jumping man graphic inside a clear circular button.

The Nike KD 17 “Metro Boomin” will be released on June 14th for $160, alongside its “Producer Pack” counterparts. Enjoy a first look at the official images below.
