On Wednesday, guard Devin Booker and forward Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns were named to the All-NBA team.
Booker was selected for the third team, while Durant for the second. Out of all the NBA teams, the latter got the fewest votes.
Last season, Durant made 75 appearances and averaged 27.1 points per contest. He made 41.3% of his long-range shots and 52.3% of his field goals.
In addition to his prolific scoring, Durant averaged 37.2 minutes per game while also contributing 6.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.2 blocks.
He was selected an NBA All-Star for his accomplishments.
Booker averaged 27.1 points on 49.2% shooting and 36.4% from three-point range in 68 games played during the previous season.
In 36 minutes per game, he averaged an additional 4.5 rebounds and 6.9 assists. In terms of minutes played and assists, he set career records.
Similar to Durant, Booker’s play earned him All-Star status.
