On Tuesday’s SHE MD podcast, Khloe Kardashian updated listeners on the status of her relationship with her children’s father, following years of cheating accusations.

The 39-year-old reality actress, who recently wished her ex a happy 33rd birthday on social media, stated that she and Tristan Thompson will continue to co-parent.

She told up about her relationship with the NBA player, acknowledging that he is a ‘wonderful parent’ and avoiding any ‘bashing.’

‘He did make mistakes,’ the Good American co-founder admitted. ‘He’s the kindest guy, and we get along so well now.

‘We weren’t meant to be together, but he was supposed to be the father of these children. And we do get along so well, and I’m really glad for that because my parents did as well,’ she told guests Dr. Thais Aliabadi and Mary Alice Haney.
The mother of two previously stated that she had no interest of reuniting with the Cavaliers star, claiming that she is ‘not attracted’ to him.


They had two children during their six-year relationship: True, who is six, and Tatum, who is one.

Khloe and Tristan were first linked in the summer of 2016, when they were seen at LA’s Bootsy Bellows club.


In a 2017 interview, the Good American co-founder stated that they met on a blind date arranged up by their mutual friend, Brandon Jennings, and were hesitant at the time.

In October of that same year, the couple made it official on Instagram with a romantic Halloween photo in which they dressed up as Marvel’s Storm and Black Panther.

In April 2018, the 33-year-old Canadian fathered a daughter, True, with the reality star before their world came falling down.

Just days before the birth, he was caught in an exclusive video locking lips with a stunning brunette at a Manhattan nightclub.


At the time, an insider said that ‘Khloé carried his child and is far more in the limelight than he is, and she doesn’t believe he realizes the implications of his decisions.

‘She thinks the infidelity scandal is a far bigger concern than he does, and he doesn’t completely realize how his actions will effect not only him and Khloé, but the entire family as a whole.’

In February 2019, TMZ reported that he cheated again by kissing Jordyn Woods, a close family friend. Woods, Kylie Jenner’s then-best pal, verified it during a Red Table Talk.

The socialite gave him a second opportunity, but Thompson went on to father a kid with Maralee Nichols in December 2021, around the same time that Khloe was expecting their second child via surrogate.

Now the ex-couple is on good terms. Khloe previously married NBA player Lamar Odom from 2009 to 2016.

They said ‘I do’ after one month of dating, but their relationship did not survive long, as they discreetly separated in 2013 amid cheating suspicions.

The reality star postponed filing the divorce papers for three years after a near-fatal overdose in a Las Vegas brothel.
