Lala Vasquez and Carmelo Anthony may have been stunned to hear booing at their reception yesterday because a wedding is a time for celebration.

Lebron James, the NBA star, was the guest of the MTV host bride and groom, thus they weren’t the ones receiving the hate.

As he has declared himself, King James has upset a great deal of the people by leaving his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat.


His decision was made public in the 75-minute reality TV program The Decision, which detractors called “patronizing” and “obnoxious.”
James and his fiancée Savannah Brinson arrived to a chorus of irate New Yorkers booing him.

Fortunately, MTV anchor Lala, 30, had a very cordial welcome when she married Anthony, 26, at Cipriani’s in New York yesterday, following a five-year engagement.

Kiyan, their three-year-old son, was the ring bearer for the recentlyweds.
The thirty-year-old MTV TRL hostess carried a bouquet of hot pink flowers in addition to her Vera Wang gown.


Working out every day with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson—who has trained Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez—Vazquez shed thirteen pounds before her wedding.

Five years prior, Anthony proposed with a cushion-cut diamond weighing eight carats. Two and a half additional carats were then added, and the two matching wedding bands totaled almost $200,000.
Approximately 320 people attended, including filmmaker Spike Lee, rapper Ludacris, Ciara, Kim Kardashian, Serena Williams, Kelly Rowland, and former member of Destiny’s Child.

A close-up of Vasquez’s white gown was shared by Kardashian with the caption, “Here comes the bride… I was asked to provide a sneak peek by LaLaVazquez!
Later on, she tweeted, “Wow, what a ceremony!” Along with a picture of herself and Serena Williams with the bride, she wrote, “Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Carmelo Anthony!!!!” and “Let the festivities begin, Mrs. Anthony.”


Williams replied, “Omg right congrats,” after retweeting Kardashian’s statement.

The bride tweeted, “Best night of my entire life,” joining in the conversation. I am grateful to all of my family and friends who joined me tonight. I cherish you. Right now, I’m on cloud nine.
