Kevin Durant, a top player for the Phoenix Suns, expressed his support for Michael Jordan after the NBA veteran assisted in the opening of a new medical facility in his native North Carolina for people without or with inadequate insurance.
The most recent clinic, located in Wilmington, North Carolina, was made feasible by a $10 million donation from Michael Jordan. The Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic is the third such facility that Jordan and his mother, Deloris Jordan, have opened in North Carolina:

KD commended Jordan and his mother in the following X post after seeing a video of Jordan speaking prior to the clinic’s opening: “2 goats who impacted the world. Much Love to the Jordans and everything they do!”
In addition to the new Wilmington location, which guarantees that even more individuals in need can receive assistance throughout the state, the other two Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinics are situated in Charlotte.
Jordan is considered the best basketball player of all time, having earned five NBA MVP titles, six NBA Finals MVP awards, and six NBA championships during his legendary Chicago Bulls career.
He became the first retired NBA player to become a millionaire by leveraging his success and superstar status on the floor to excellence off the court.
That offered Jordan the opportunity to assist the less fortunate in addition to enabling him to temporarily become the owner of the Charlotte Hornets.
