LeBron James looked handsome in a white suit on Wednesday night at the Shooting Stars premiere in Los Angeles, where he was joined by his stylish wife Savannah James.
The 38-year-old NBA legend, who in February shattered the all-time scoring record, posed with his gorgeous partner wearing a sultry black flower suit.
The stunning couple attended to express support for his latest biopic, which follows LeBron and his boyhood buddies as they play basketball in high school.
Using Peacock to stream The sports drama, which premiered on June 2, is based on James and journalist Buzz Bissinger’s 2009 book of the same name.
It follows the Lakers Legend’s journey from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio, where he blossoms into a basketball phenomenon, and traces his climb to the NBA.
Real-life NBA hopefuls Romeo Travis and LeBron James are played by Markie “Mookie” Cooke and Scoot Henderson.
Caleb McLaughlin, 21, of Stranger Things, plays a pivotal part as Lil Dru Joyce III, LeBron’s childhood friend.
Actors Avery S. Willis Jr. and Khalil Everage, who play Willie McGee and Sian Cotton, respectively, complete LeBron’s boyhood “Fab Five.”
Director Chris Robinson stated last week that LeBron and his buddies ‘liked’ a rough cut of the movie following a viewing in New York City.
The director declared: “They got the rough cut on the computer and [McGee] said that LeBron couldn’t cast it to his TV, so all of the real Fab Five, Anthony Davis, and a few other Lakers guys were huddled around a little computer, watching the whole movie.”
LeBron, he claimed, adored it. They cherished it. For me, it was plenty when the genuine males enjoyed it.
Shooting Stars follows the paths of LeBron’s pals, who all had successful athletic careers despite being overshadowed by one of the greatest sportsmen of all time, even though LeBron’s prodigal skill serves as the film’s main focal point.
Robinson remarked, “How is it to be the best friend of somebody who even your father is paying more attention to than you?” in reference to Lil Dru Joyce III.
