Dennis Rodman didn’t like the way LeBron James played

Dennis Rodman has had some harsh words for LeBron James over the last few years. The five-time NBA champion has played alongside great players who he believes are better than The King.

LeBron James - Wikipedia Rodman is full of praise for Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. When he compares his former teammates to James, his praise rises even higher.

MJ’s teammates always have His Airness’ back, as Scottie Pippen demonstrated when he refused to take LeBron James to the movies.

“I would’ve locked his a– up. LeBron is so easy to play. He’s so f—— easy to play. He don’t have any moves. The only move he has is straight down the line. He ain’t got no moves. Where’s he going?

“His game is too simple. He’s just big…you know, 260…6’8″, 6’9″, whatever. That’s the only thing he’s got. Pretty much.”

Rodman is one of the best defenders of all time, but not everyone believes he would have had a chance against LeBron. Nonetheless, the former Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls player believes James would not have been as good in the 1990s, and that Scottie Pippen would have remained the league’s second-best player behind Michael Jordan.

“If LeBron was playing during the ’90s, I’d still say Scottie Pippen was the second-best player behind Michael [Jordan].”

Dennis does not see LeBron as a dangerous player. The four-time NBA champion has faced big defenders and always found a way to score on them. However, things were different in the 1990s, which is why many believe Bron would have struggled if he had played back then.

We’ll never know what would have happened if The King was around in the 1990s, but Rodman believes his Bulls would have dominated the 36-year-old on any given night.
