Following Bronny James’s fall and cardiac arrest, Buffalo Bills star Damar Hamlin offered his condolences to the James family.
The family of NBA player LeBron James, Bronny, announced today that he suffered a heart arrest on Monday morning during a workout at USC’s Galen Center and was taken to the hospital.
He was taken out of critical care and is currently in a stable condition.
On January 2, while the Bills were playing the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17, Hamlin, 25, went into cardiac arrest and needed to be revived from the field.
The NFL safety, who has recovered astonishingly, has promised to be there for the James family when Bronny goes through the same ordeal.
Hamlin tweeted, “Prayers to Bronny & The James family as well,” along with an image of a praying person. “Just as you have been for me throughout my entire process, I’m here for you guys.”
Less than seven months have passed since Bronny’s on-field demise, but the football player is already getting ready for his almost miraculous comeback to the NFL.
Before the upcoming season, Hamlin is anticipated to return to normal practice with his teammates, though it’s uncertain how the Bills staff would handle his playing time.
Hamlin has been traveling around the country on a “CPR Tour” that started in Buffalo at the beginning of June. The player’s goal is to try to repay the first responders who saved his life by performing CPR on him.
He also recently went to the ESPY awards, where the NBA legend was joined on stage by LeBron, his wife Savannah, and their three kids, Bronny, 16, and Zhuri, 8, as he won an award.
An emotional Hamlin attended the Los Angeles gala to give an ESPY Award for Service to the Buffalo Bills training staff that saved his life.
Hamlin’s remarkable recuperation from his injuries and his continued life are entirely attributable to the medical personnel who attended to him in the immediate aftermath of the Cincinnati event.
After committing to the Trojans, Bronny was taken to the hospital in an ambulance following a 911 call placed on Monday at 9:26 a.m.
It is thought that the incident was a Code 3, denoting the gravity of the call and necessitating the use of sirens and ambulance lights.
“Yesterday, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest while practicing,” a representative for the James family stated. Bronny was treated by medical personnel, who also transported him to the hospital. He is no longer in the ICU and his status is stable.
“We kindly request privacy and respect for the James family, and we will notify the media as soon as we learn more.” LeBron and Savannah would want to use this opportunity to publicly express their gratitude to the USC medical and athletic personnel for their amazing efforts and commitment to the safety of their players.
This is the second instance in which a basketball player experiencing a cardiac attack during practice has been attended to by USC medical personnel.
Vince Iwuchukwu was resuscitate by USC sports personnel after collapsing during a session last summer. After six months, he started playing basketball again.
According to Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, Bronny’s breakdown might have been brought on by the Covid-19 vaccine. inciting social media fury.
Musk responded to a media report on Tuesday by writing, “We cannot ascribe everything to the vaccine, but, by the same token, we cannot ascribe nothing.”
“Myocarditis is a recognized adverse event.” Musk’s tweet went on, “The only question is whether it is rare or common.”
Bronny, who committed to USC in May, made a decision to wear his famous No. 6 for his freshman year at the university, continuing his journey to emulate his father’s basketball career.
USC posted an image along with the joyful news, “FIRST LOOK: Bronny James will wear No. 6 for the Trojans,” on their Twitter page.
Even though he has worn No. 23 in the past, his father LeBron is undoubtedly more associated with the No. 6 from his illustrious time with the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers.
