Just four days after the 18-year-old suffered a heart arrest after basketball practice, LeBron James frequently expressed his gratitude to patrons at the Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi for having Bronny by his side.
Friday marked Bronny’s first public appearance since becoming unwell, when LeBron and the James family dined at the popular restaurant for celebrities.
LeBron only arrived with his wife, Savannah, and their daughter Zhuri. However, the Lakers star, along with Bronny and his other kid, Bryce, departed a few hours later.
Currently, People is citing a source who claims that diners came up to the family to wish them well.
“LeBron continued to express his gratitude,” People was cited as saying by the source.
Naturally, seeing Bronny was a delight after the terrifying week. LeBron frequently brings his family along. Everyone was wishing Bronny a speedy recovery.
The next day, LeBron posted a video of Bronny practicing the piano at home to Instagram, captioning the image with the words, “GRAND RISING!!” Brony, God Is Great. You truly are incredible! As easy as that! Continue on! We are here to support you at every turn.
On Monday, while practicing with the rest of the USC basketball team at the Galen Center, Bronny suddenly passed out and had to be taken to the hospital.
The teenager was stabilized after being sent to intensive care. On Thursday, he was finally allowed to leave the hospital completely.
“Bronny James was successfully treated for a sudden cardiac arrest thanks to the quick and efficient response by the USC athletics medical staff,” a statement from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center read on Thursday, announcing Bronny’s discharge.
Upon arriving at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, he was stable, cognizant, and in good neurological condition.
Mr. James received rapid attention from highly skilled personnel and was sent home to rest.
“We are optimistic about his continued progress and are inspired by his response, resilience, and the support of his family and community, even though his workup will be ongoing.”
On Thursday, LeBron, on the other hand, issued a statement expressing gratitude to fans for the kind words he and his family have received.
He posted on Twitter, “I want to thank the countless people sending love and prayers to my family.”
“I’m so appreciative, and we feel you.” Everyone is operating at a high level. We feel your love and are safe and well with our family together.
We’ll talk more when the time is right, but for now, I just wanted to say thank you very much for your support! #JamesGang.
