Is Anthony Edwards’ Custom Lamborghini Urus Minnesota Timberwolves-Themed?

Take a look at the list of professional athletes who have been confirmed to own a Urus: LaMelo Ball (NBA / Charlotte Hornets), Dennis Schroder (NBA / Toronto Raptors), Lautaro Martinez (Serie A / Inter Milan), Odell Beckham Jr. (NFL / Baltimore Ravens), Luka Doncic (NBA / Dallas Mavericks), CeeDee Lamb (NFL / Dallas Cowboys), and so forth.

OBJ, CeeDee Lamb, LaMelo, and Luka have the most bizarre-looking Uruses I’ve ever seen, I must admit. Lamb and LaMelo both had the 1016 Widebody kit installed, along with a completely customized interior. When it comes to his Lambo SUV, OBJ chose a Novitec widebody kit, but Luka’s is… well, his looks are undoubtedly the sickest.

The Mavericks star’s Urus is outfitted with Mansory’s Venatus body package, giving it an off-road-ready appearance akin to an off-road-ready Batmobile. Whoash.

Which Lambo Urus, in terms of appearance, isn’t as insane as you may imagine? That’s who the Ant-Man is. I am referring about none other than Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves, one of the league’s most exciting up-and-coming talents and a player who is already considered a top-5 shooting guard.

On social media, Ant-Man has been photographed wearing what appear to be Blu Nethuns alongside this pretty unassuming Urus. But that’s not all—the SUV also has these uniquely designed white accent stripes.

A significant issue? Perhaps, perhaps not. However, even a casual NBA fan would surmise that Edwards may be paying tribute to the Timberwolves, the team he was drafted by in 2020 and is presently playing monster numbers for, by driving a car with a blue and white theme.

Edwards is averaging 28.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.3 steals a game in 35.9 minutes while shooting 48.7% from the floor in his fourth season in the league. We refer to that year as a breakout one.

It’s obvious that he’s a different player than he was in season prior, let alone last year. He was frequently the most aggressive player on the court, which helped from his time with Team USA at the World Cup a few months ago.

For the Wolves, he has so far guided them to a 7-2 record, winning six straight games and maintaining a perfect 5-0 record at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Although the season is still early, I have a feeling the Wolves will have a successful season.
