Nuggets Coach Michael Malone Flexing On Microphone Almost Guarantees Lakers Will Get Swept

The Denver Nuggets have been dominating the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Playoffs, and on Tuesday they took a 2-0 series lead.

The Nuggets crushed the kneecaps of the Lakers in Game 1, triumphing 114-103.

Denver crushed Los Angeles in Game 2, winning 101-99 thanks to a spectacular buzzer-beating jump shot by Jamal Murray.

Even if it might be too soon to start performing the Victory Lap, Michael Malone, the coach of the Nuggets, will nonetheless clown the Lakers, whether on purpose or accidentally.

Speaking about the victory in Game 2, Malone showed off on Wednesday that his team hasn’t yet used all of its playmaking options. Has Malone been asked to change anything? It doesn’t sound that way at all.

“We’ve gone over our game plan, we’ve gone over adjustments for a lot of different players and play-calls that we haven’t even had to show yet,” Malone told the media.Since Denver defeated Los Angeles in the playoffs the previous year, Michael Malone and LeBron James of the Lakers have a reputation for being fierce competitors.

In the public eye, Malone is renowned for being a joker. He is the kind of coach who, if he can prevail, will clasp his hands and shake them side to side to deflect a taunt.

If you’re the Lakers, you have to be thinking about next season and whether it’s time to fold the flag after wisely resting the starters in Games 3 and 4.

That is a jest.

The main reason the Nuggets have outwitted the Lakers thus far is because of Darvin Ham, their coach—a man some Lakers supporters would argue is insufficient.

Ham and the Lakers are mostly to blame for their downfall.

Tuesday night, Denver overcame a 20-point deficit to win by a close margin while Ham remained motionless on the sidelines and neglected to call timeouts.

After realizing for the entire season that Denver had lengthier shooters on the perimeter and a size advantage, Los Angeles did nothing except sit around, without trying to add more players or at least try to sign a major worth of minutes for the postseason.

It was essentially the same Lakers club that had the same shortcomings from the previous season’s sweep, and they could plausibly end up in the same situation against the same Nuggets team.
