On Tuesday, LeBron James and his spouse Savannah commemorated their ninth wedding anniversary!

The married couple celebrated the milestone by posting a message on Instagram expressing their love for one another. “9 years down, 21 years to go! Let’s toast to us, my dear! Cheers to another year!”#JamesGang,” she wrote as the caption for a cute picture of herself and the NBA player taken on a date night.


Hand-drawn images of his wife were shared by LeBron on his Instagram stories. One had the word “Savannah” written in block letters and a crown drawn under it. The caption on the image read, “Happy Anniversary Again, Queen! I adore you, mom.

Just so you know, Savannah’s caption included the number “21” because the two have been dating since high school.


In a 2017 interview with Cleveland Magazine, Savannah stated that she was 16 when she first met a teenage LeBron, who had reportedly requested for her phone number, according to a mutual acquaintance. She turned it down and took his instead.

“Um, nope,” is how I feel. She said to the magazine, “I’ll take his number,'” then recalled, “One day, I’m sitting around, maybe bored or whatever, and I’m like, ‘Oh, I forgot! I can give this guy a call at this number. Let’s see, he appeared intrigued.
The couple tied the knot at the Capella Chapel Grand Del Mar hotel in San Diego in September 2013. The couple has a daughter named Zhuri and two sons named Bronny and Bryce.


Regarding their relationship, she said in the interview, “He is truly a king to his queen, if you will.” “He shows me such respect; it’s difficult not to love him for the way he acts toward me, the kids, his mother, and everyone else in his immediate vicinity.” For everything he has and has accomplished, he is a very humble man.
