Lebron James and impressions from a new milestone in his career

Journalist Darius Soriano estimates that a player must play in around 20 seasons, 82 games, and average 24.4 points each game in order to reach 40,000 points. That string of accomplishments has never been maintained in history; it demands steadiness over an extended length of time and the avoidance of excessive gaps. Any player who can accomplish it will undoubtedly be a star, perhaps even the team’s top player.

Compared to journalist Soriano, Lebron James has a greater average score each game. Since the start of his career, he has seldom missed a season and has averaged over 30 minutes each game. In the NBA, the player who was born in 1984 also achieved the milestones of 1,000 points, 2,000 points, and 40,000 points the quickest.

Lebron James holds the second-best ranking of any player in NBA history right now. He hasn’t indicated that he wants to quit playing just yet. He has over 11,000 more points than the closest active player, Kevin Durant. It’s much harder to break Lebron James’ record in the near future, even though attacking in basketball has gotten easier in the last ten years.
