Kevin Durant’s former Oakland home asks $5.99M

Perched on top of the Oakland Hills, this distinctly modern residence was formerly occupied by the legendary Kevin Durant, a former member of the Golden State Warriors.

He rented the house, which is currently listed off-market for an incredible $5,998,888.

4614-4616 Rockingham Court is nearly a mansion, with seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a generous 9,084 square feet (of course, any pad that is 10,000 square feet or larger is given the arbitrary manse title, but who’s counting?). This expansive home features a circular driveway, floor to ceiling windows, an in-home theater, a curving staircase that leads to the top and lower levels and would make for a very spectacular entry, and of course, a private half-court for basketball.

The backyard has a concrete terrace and a green lawn, and the glass front doors are stylish, reminiscent of Lisa Vanderpump’s Villa Rosa in Beverly Hills (without the fauna and excess pink).

The property was designed by Michael Burgess and was constructed in 2005. It consists of two independent units. Not to be missed is this video, which shows Kevin Durant giving a live tour of the home.
