With the excellence of the duo LeBron James – Anthony Davis, the Los Angeles Lakers ended their long tour series with their 8th victory in the last 9 matches.

Having gone through 6 consecutive away matches in 9 days, the Los Angeles Lakers understood that their legs were gradually tiring. Their mentality is no better even though up to now, the Lakers’ performance is quite good with 6 wins in the last 7 matches. 

This morning (April 4 Vietnam time), LeBron James and his teammates reached the end of the tour series, taking the field for the second match in two consecutive days and facing the Washington Wizards.

The Los Angeles Lakers dragged their tired legs to their 6th match in 9 days (all away from home) to take on the Washington Wizards.

Tired and a bit worn out, the Los Angeles Lakers went from leading the Wizards by 17 points to allowing the opponent to shorten the score to 107-105.

The Washington team just denied Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 30-point triple-double yesterday (April 3), defeating the Milwaukee Bicks with a difference of 4 points. Therefore, the fear of a Lakers defeat against the Wizards appeared.

But in the end, LeBron James and the LA players woke up promptly with a 12-0 run, leading the Lakers to a final victory of 125-120 to close the series away from home with a total record of 5 wins, 1 loss.

The Lakers’ entire starting lineup scored 16 points or more, led by Anthony Davis with 35 points (10-17 FG, 15-15 FT) along with 18 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocks. 

LeBron James is right behind with 25 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Rui Hachimura, D’Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves scored 19, 18 and 16 points, respectively.

The Lakers’ reserve group once again fell short compared to the main squad, scoring a total of only 12 points out of the team’s 125 points. But anyway, the final result that the whole team achieved is still more important, which is a victory.

On the other side of the front line, Jordan Poole led the Wizards with an impressive performance. He scored 29 points (10-19 FG, 5-9 3PT) and 5 assists on the day he returned to the starting lineup. Former Lakers player Kyle Kuzma had 17 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists in 39 minutes of play.

Washington just had an impressive victory over the Milwaukee Bucks yesterday (April 3) and opened the match against the Lakers with a very high spirit. They hit five 3-pointers early in the first half to take a 19-8 lead.

But for the rest of the match, the Wizards were unable to stop the “monster” Anthony Davis to win like they did with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
