We feel like we’re capable of beating anybody’ — Steph Curry still optimistic about the Warriors

The Warriors are currently in 10th place in the Western Conference, one game ahead of the Houston Rockets and three wins behind the Lakers. While supporters are upset as the squad continues to struggle, Steph Curry seems unconcerned.

Stephen Curry looks on prior to the start of the game against at Target Center. He is surrounded by bokeh lights in a darkened arena. He is wearing a white uniform.
“You’ve got us down the way,” Curry remarked regarding the Western Conference rankings postgame on Friday, following his fourth-quarter absence against the Timberwolves. “We’re stunned we’re here, but we’re confident we can beat anyone.
If the Warriors continue to win while the Rockets and Lakers continue to lose, they will advance to the play-in round as the ninth or tenth seed. If this occurs and the 8th-seeded Mavericks lose their final eight games of the season, the Warriors will be a lock for the eighth spot. This is farfetched, but as Steph mentioned, anything may happen. The NBA has never been more open as it is today, particularly in the West.

“Everyone has talent, everybody has something they’ve built their identity on,” she remarked. “It’s a very competitive landscape.”

The Warriors will meet the Miami Heat tomorrow night in Miami. The Warriors are healthy, with the exception of Trayce Jackson-Davis’ knee pain, while the Heat have two players out and three questionable for this showdown. If all goes right, the Warriors may take a one-game lead over the Rockets in the play-in.
