LeBron James understands where his priorities lay.

And, while his professional basketball career has consumed the majority of his life, it does not overshadow his family and children. That is why he confessed that if his son Bronny’s collegiate debut at USC conflicts with a Los Angeles Lakers game, he will miss it.
According to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello, just four months after Bronny fainted due to a heart arrest during a USC football practice, the 19-year-old high school sensation has been allowed for basketball action after being cleared for non-contact play a few weeks earlier.


Bronny has a curable congenital cardiac problem, according to James’ family, who publicized this in August.

Bronny is now scheduled to start practice next week and return to games shortly thereafter.


James, one of the top players in the 2023 recruiting class, committed to USC after a standout career at Sierra Canyon School in Southern California. He was a member of the Trojans’ highly regarded recruiting class, which included Isaiah Collier, the No. 1 overall player in the class, according to 247 Sports Composite.

USC is 5-2 so far this season.
