The James family is going to produce a ton of podcast content in the near future.
In the wake of NBA legend LeBron James’ recently announced Mind the Game podcast, his spouse Savannah has also disclosed an intriguing new podcast endeavor.
Savannah will co-host the Everybody’s Crazy podcast with April McDaniel, the creator of the creative agency Crown + Conquer.
The two shared a phone number with viewers in an Instagram Story on their new account so they could talk with Savannah and April.
On Monday, their hotline went online, and they posted an Instagram video of a behind-the-scenes look at their recording.
The post asked fans to respond to a question that said, “What are our thoughts on public displays of affection, or PDA, in the club?”
It’s unclear exactly where and when the podcast will be accessible, nor how often it will be released.
Concurrently, LeBron’s new podcast debuted with its inaugural edition on Tuesday.
What Makes a Great Basketball Player? was the title of the first episode, which JJ Redick, a former NBA player turned ESPN announcer, co-hosted.
LeBron’s Uninterrupted and JJ’s ThreeFourTwo Productions are both producing the show.
LeBron and JJ talked about the game over a few glasses of wine on Tuesday’s episode.
Their conversation on Steph Curry, the star of the Golden State Warriors, was one subject that stuck out.
LeBron praised Curry’s influence on the game, saying that because of him, an in-game lead is no longer secure.
“Steph and Allen Iverson are the two biggest influential guys in our game since I’ve been watching and covering it,” stated LeBron.
The Los Angeles Lakers player said, “Kids felt like they could be them,” pointing out both of their heights and how approachable they are.
“Those were folks you couldn’t always rely on. Despite their diminutive size, they managed to overcome the obstacles.
“All of a sudden, everyone is wearing arm sleeves thanks to Allen Iverson, who is in the trenches throwing it up over bigs. You have AI who is like [an] incredible crossover, cornrows, and arm sleeves.
“And now you’ve got Steph who’s shooting over the Empire State Building.”
Within nine hours of putting up, the debut episode of Mind the Game garnered over 350,000 views on YouTube.
