The guard for the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry, will be recognised as the Most Valuable Player of the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the second year in a row in 2016.
His outstanding campaign took place during a year in which the Warriors improved their record to 73–9, breaking the mark for the most wins in a single season that had been held by the Chicago Bulls in 1995–2016. Since the year 2000, only LeBron James, Steve Nash, and Tim Duncan have accomplished the accomplishment of earning the Most Valuable Player award for consecutive seasons.
Curry is the eleventh player in NBA history to accomplish this feat. An analysis of “The Baby Faced Assassin” over the course of its existence.##
