Like Father, Like Son: LeBron, Savannah & Zhuri were on hand to cheer on Bronny’s game and the legendary dad reacted to his son’s signature dunk

The USC Trojans defeated the Arizona Wildcats by a score of 78-65 during the game on Saturday. Bronny James attended the match. Bronny’s parents, Savannah and LeBron James, supported the team while they watched the game from the sidelines.

Though their mere presence garnered interest, it was LeBron’s attire throughout the match that drew in supporters, including the University of Southern California men’s basketball team’s official Twitter account.

Bron decided on a casual outfit consisting of only one color, blue. This outfit choice strangely reminded me of the UCLA Bruins’ school colors—the Trojans’ city rivals.

Due to his time restriction, Bronny James was only allowed to play for twenty minutes in which he could not score five points, get six rebounds, or commit more than two thefts. In his sixteen-minute stint against the Sun Devils, his prior appearance ended without a point. This performance was marginally better than that one.

Bronny scored eleven points and pulled down six rebounds in the one and only thirty-minute game he played, against the Wildcats. Bronny’s current time limitation stems from the medical emergency that transpired in the summer of last year, during which he was identified with a congenital cardiac defect. The guard returned on December 10th, having been absent for four months.

Bronny James averaged 19.2 minutes per game in his rookie season of collegiate basketball, scoring 4.8 points, grabbing 2.8 rebounds, and dishing out 2.3 assists. Due to his below-average performance, he has drawn a lot of criticism online, with many people thinking he isn’t ready to play in the NBA.

James, on the other side, suffered a dismal performance that resulted in his removal from the ESPN 2024 mock draft. Despite being included in the hypothetical draft for 2025, his name is still selected in the second round.

Bronny’s lawyer, Rich Paul, specifically stated that the franchise’s interest will influence Bronny’s NBA prospects rather than his selection position. James is still giving his all to the university squad he plays for in the interim.
