Jeffrey Feinberg, a hedge fund manager, recently paid $44 million for a huge 54,885-square-foot house, which was more than the $43 million asking price. Why should I pay more? The house has a lot of great features, especially for sports fans. For example, there is a pool and spa, a three-hole putting green, and a half-basketball court. It’s also the latest work of nearby developer Ramtin Ray Nosrati of Huntington Estate Properties. One of his signature features is a rooftop yard with cannabis plants.
She tells Robb Report, “As soon as you walk into this beauty, you feel like you’re on vacation.”
The house is in Brentwood, on a private 1.2-acre lot with views of the Getty Museum across the street. This is a very high-class neighborhood. A road leads to the basement, and there is also a guest house for guests.
Would you like to get a close look at the digging? Nosrati gave Robb Report a private tour of the house and showed off all of its luxurious features:
The inside of the mansion has a fairly open floor plan and big glass walls that are typical of modern California design. A 1,000-gallon tank on both sides of the dining room wall lets you see into the kitchen. The great room has 26-foot ceilings. There are more natural touches like the cactus garden and the live wall of plants and succulents at the bottom of the stairs.
There is a second, more private chef’s kitchen above the open-concept kitchen. It has an outside door and is great for bigger groups. Even better, it has its own walk-in fridge that looks like it came from a busy restaurant.
There is a “living wall” by the stairs in the great room, and the ceilings are 26 feet high. This picture shows Simon Berlyn from Huntington Estate Properties.
There are no walls between the living and dining rooms on the first floor, so every room can see the front lawn, which has an infinity pool and a sitting area. The outside kitchen is a great spot to cook because it has a pizza oven, a grill, and an LED TV.
Most of the high-end features can be found below. The Rolls-Royce Theater, which is also called the movie room, is first. Nosrati said that the small lights in the roof are based on the fiber-optic lighting in a Rolls-Royce, which is where the nаme comes from.

Players can go to a “all-sports simulator room” and play sports like golf virtually on grounds all over the world. The indoor gym next door has a hоt tub that can be turned into a cold plunge pool and a pool with jets that make a current that you can swim against to get a good workout. Because the whole house is automated, water can be made to fall from the roof whenever someone wants, making it look like a waterfall. Relax in one of the two massage rooms after a hard day of pulling weights.
Nosrati calls the main area where the games are the “fun cave” because it has a video wall with nine TVs that can all be set to show the same broadcast or different ones. You can get a haircut right next to the bar, but be careful—being right next to the bar could lead to some bad haircuts. There is also a 10-car auto gallery next to it where partygoers can enjoy themselves while looking at the owner’s collection.
From the game room, or “fun cave,” downstairs, you can get to the car gallery. Simon Berlyn/Huntington Estate Properties took the picture.
The “legends” half-basketball court is outside. It was designed to look like Kobe Bryant’s purple-and-gold Lakers uniform, and it has his number 24 on it. On the edges are pictures of other famous basketball players, like Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and more. As they shoot hoops, players can see the whole city because it’s on a floating deck.
There are three decks on the house. There are two on the second floor. One is for relaxing, and the other has a three-hole putting green for more golf. The last area is a deck on the roof with six cannabis plants in a yard. “This seems like the way things will go from now on,” says Nosrati. “This is where people grow their own cannabis. You see a lot of wine cellars and other things in homes.” The Wall Street Journal says Feinberg changed his mind and decided to swap the buds for carrots and cucumbers before the deal was finalized.
There are tributes to other Laker players and NBA greats on the half-basketball court, as well as Kobe Bryant. Simon Berlyn/Huntington Estate Properties took the picture.
There are also two walk-in closets and bathrooms in the main bedroom, as well as a private balcony with a view of the fields below. The only bad thing about the house is that it’s no longer for sale.
The people who helped Nosrati with the deal were Branden and Rayni Williams of the Beverly Hills Estates, Shauna Walters and Sally Forster Jones of Compass, and Matt and Josh Altman of Douglas Elliman.
