A pool of 41 athletes was selected by USA Basketball today to represent the men’s national team in 2024. The roster, which was selected by managing director of the USA Basketball Men’s National Team Grant Hill, is not set in stone. The twelve-member USA Men’s National Team, who will represent the country in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, will be announced at a later time.

The following players, listed alphabetically by last name, are the finalists for the 2024 USA Men’s National Team. Between them, these players have won 23 gold medals in the Olympics or World Cup and have represented the United States in both competitions.

Steve Kerr (Golden State Warriors) will serve as the һeаd coach of the 2024 USA Men’s National Team. mагk Few (Gonzaga University), Tyronn Lue (L.A. Clippers), and Erik Spoelstra (Miami Heat) will provide assistance to Kerr. The quartet supervised the 2023 USA Basketball Men’s National Team as they finished in fourth place at the 2023 FIBA Men’s World Cup in Manila last summer. Kerr is a gold medalist at the 2020 Summer Olympics after serving as Gregg Popovich’s assistant coach in Tokyo.

Additionally, USA Basketball declared that as part of the USA Basketball Showcase, the 2024 USA Men’s National Team will һoѕt саnada at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The exhibition competition will air live on FS1 on July 10 at 7:30 p.m. PT/10:30 p.m. ET.

The USA Basketball National Teams utilize the USA Basketball Showcase, an assortment of contests, to prepare for significant competitions such as the FIBA World Cup and the Olympic Summer Games.

Following their departure from Las Vegas, the US will begin an overseas training session that will end with exhibition games against the national teams of South Sudan and Germany on July 20 and 22, respectively, at the O2 Arena in London.

Before the Canada match, the United States will have training camp in Las Vegas, its long-standing training site. More information will be released at a later date.

The United States officially qualified for the 2024 Olympics as one of the top two nations from the FIBA Americas zone at the September 2023 FIBA World Cup. The American men will compete for their fifth consecutive gold medal at the Olympics, making a total of seventeen.

In both the three-by-three and five-on-five basketball formats, the United States of America will field four teams for the 2024 Olympic Summer Games. The United States, who are now unbeaten in 5×5 men and women and 3×3 women, are gearing up to make their Olympic debut in 3×3 men next summer. Further information about each of the four USA Basketball teams will be released at a later date.
