The story is told by David Falk, Jordan’s representative. Speaking to WFAN, Falk said: “A few years ago, Jordan turned down an invitation to play golf when he went to Asia to play a pre-season match with the Charlotte Hornets. A woman in the Philippines offered me 7 million USD to invite Jordan to attend a golf tournament for 1 day, but he refused. Even 3 years ago I received an offer worth 100 million USD. He just allowed his name to be used and appeared in a launch ceremony that lasted about 2 hours. But Jordan did not accept.”
