LeBron James made a really kind gesture to his “queen”!
At the ESPY Awards on Wednesday, the 38-year-old Los Angeles Lakers player won the medal for greatest record-breаking performance to commemorate being the NBA’s all-time top scorer. He took a moment to thank his “beautiful and amazing” wife, Savannah James, before receiving the medal.
“She never does anything like this, according to anyone who knows her—and I know there are a few people here who do,” James yelled. Not to mention how much I love presenting you all my daily companion, the queen, at my house. Excellent work, my love.
“No one has worked harder or sacrificed more for our family than you have, and I love you for it,” the speaker said.
The great athlete began by introducing his children, LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., 18, Bryce Maximus, 16, and Zhuri, 8, whom he has with Savannah. He then spoke about his love for basketball before shоcking the public by announcing his retirement.
He said, “The day I can’t give it my all, I will stop playing,” and then he took a little pause.
With a wide smile, he said, “That day is not today,” to the audience’s cheers.
LeBron’s favorite thing to do is cheer on his wife and his two boys, who are also doing well.
He has shown his thanks on social media many times to his 36-year-old wife.
He posted a number of pictures of Savannah on the red carpet on his Instagram account at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March.
LeBron wrote, “GOT DAMNNNNN!! *Pharrell voice @mrs_savannahrj,” along with many fire and love eye emojis in the description of the picture. Vanity Fair is “Vibezzzzzzzz,” according to the caption.
Last month, they had a classy date night at the Shooting Stars premiere in Los Angeles.
In between posing for photos on the red carpet and extending a warm welcome to the film’s cast and crew, a PEOPLE exclusive photograph showed the pair sharing a covert kiss before to the screening.
