On Friday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the New Orleans Pelicans in California.
The Lakers had an astonishing 87 points at halftime and won the game by a score of 139-122.
D’Angelo Russell led the way with 30 points on 6/13 shooting from the three-point range.
LeBron James had a good game with 21 points, four rebounds, 14 assists, one steal and one block while shooting 6/13 from the field and 2/2 from the three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time.
One of his assists went viral on social media.

James is 39 but still remains among the best players in the NBA and will be playing in his 20th All-Star Game later this month.
He is currently averaging 24.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 51.9% from the field and 39.3% from the three-point range in 48 games.
With the victory, the Lakers improved to 28-26 in 54 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Western Conference.
They are 6-4 over their last ten games and are 18-9 in 27 games played at home.
Following the Pelicans, the Lakers will remain in Los Angeles to host Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday evening.
As for the Pelicans, they dropped to 30-22 in 52 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.
They are 5-5 over their last ten games.
