LeBron James’ Father-Son Duo in the NBA: A Mega Storyline with Divided Opinions

Currently employed by ESPN, NBA free agent Austin Rivers, who is the son of Milwaukee Bucks head coach Doc Rivers, projected his own insecurities onto Bronny James on Monday. He stated that Bronny James should not play with LeBron James because if he does, then people will ridicule him.

LeBron & Bronny Teaming Up Is a Bad Idea, Says Former Player

I mean, I really hope that it doesn’t take place. According to Rivers, who was quoted by ESPN, “I do not want to see Bronny play with his Dad.” To be honest, I don’t. I went through something quite similar to it; it was a situation that was pretty close to it, but it was distinctive as well. My father was already a member of the National Basketball Association when I went to play for him.

The result is that a great number of individuals begin to cast doubt on what you have accomplished… If he were to get drafted and play with his father, I would rather that he not be subjected to that kind of vitriol. It’s not something he deserves.”Austin Rivers was merely another guy at the club.

Although Austin enjoyed a few successful seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a rotation player, he was never able to live up to the expectations that were placed on him after he graduated from Duke.

Throughout his whole career, including his time spent in television, Austin was constantly being pursued by allegations of nepotism. The journey that Bronny will take will be quite different.

Even though LeBron James has stated that he would sign with any team that offers him a contract, there are many who believe that Bronny will not even be selected in the draft. Some people have even compared him to Michael Jordan’s kid.
