A list of players who will start in this year’s All-Star Game was released by the National Basketball Association (NBA) on Thursday. Stephen Curry was not included on the roster.
Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder were selected as the guards for the Western Conference, making them the preferred candidates over Curry. As of the most recent ten All-Star games, Curry had started nine of them.
The schedule for the upcoming inaugural season has been announced by Bay FC.
Curry has been scoring 26.7 points per game, grabbing 4.2 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists. The average number of points scored by Gilgeous-Alexander and Doncic is greater than 31 per game, and they also have a higher number of rebounds and assists than Curry has. Additionally, the Thunder and the Mavericks have records that are superior to those of the Warriors.
Voting from fans, voting from players, and voting from the media are all factors that go into selecting the starting lineup.
Despite being a reserve, Curry is still able to make the game. When the time comes, the reserves will be disclosed to the public.
The MVP of the Golden State Warriors has been selected to play in nine All-Star games and has started each and every one of them. Since 2014, he has participated in every game, with the exception of the year 2020, when he was only able to play in five games due to a hand injury.
Former league Most Valuable Player LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Nikola Jokic are the other players selected for the Western Conference All-Star team.
