Draymond Green Weighs in on Kevin Durant’s GOAT Status and Warriors’ Impact

Golden State Warriors veteran forward Draymond Green has entered the conversation regarding Kevin Durant’s place in the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) discussion. Durant recently addressed why he’s often left out of the conversation, citing his time with the Warriors as a factor.

While acknowledging Durant’s championships, Green argued that Stephen Curry wasn’t fully recognized for his greatness until leading the Warriors to the 2022 title without Durant, securing four rings and winning finals MVP.

Green draws a distinction between Curry’s accomplishments and Durant’s GOAT status, stating, “You’ve got to go do what Steph did to get to that conversation in my opinion.”
