The Los Angeles Lakers have succeeded in bringing star LeBron James back to his forte and ending the losing streak in the NBA.

 

Since winning the historic In-Season Tournament championship, the Los Angeles Lakers have suԀԀenly struggled in the official NBA tournament. In the last 6 matches, star  LeBron James ‘ team  received 5 defeats, including a series of 4 consecutive losses. However, the famous Lakers team rediscovered the joy of winning against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a very reasonable roster change.

The Lakers’ change, pushing Russell to the bench, was effective when the Lakers played very well and defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder. More importantly, that victory opened up a new direction for tactical development for  the Lakers  this season. In this match, the Lakers used a starting lineup including LeBron James, Cam Reddish, Taurean Prince, Jarred Vanderbilt, Anthony Davis and the yellow and purple team played much better.

During the 2019 – 2020 season, LeBron James completely switched to the position of ball defender for the Lakers. As a result, that season, James averaged 10.2 assists per game, a career high, and led the Lakers to the NBA championship at the end of the year. However, after that year’s championship, the Lakers brought Russell back from the Washingtоn Wizards and let him take on the point guard position. Meanwhile, James returned to the secondary striker position and has played like that so far.

When he returned to the position of  ball-playing defender  against the Oklahoma City Thunder, star James had one of his best performances of the season. That classy performance helped the Lakers end their losing streak and it is likely that the Lakers will continue to use the player born in 1984 as a ball-leading defender in the remaining matches of the season.
