As a family, Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie Johnson are currently enjoying the kind of vacation that the majority of us can only imagine having. Aquila, a yacht of 281 feet in length, was aboard by the Johnsons, along with a number of their closest friends who were also married couples, including LL Cool J and his wife Simone Smith respectively. It is said that this luxurious “grown folks vacay” cost one million dollars every week, and the steep price tag was well worth it in order to celebrate Magic Johnson’s sixty-first birthday.
Cookie Johnson, who has been married to the basketball icon for the past 28 years, celebrated her husband by uploading a photo of him from his youth along with a heartfelt message that praised his life. The words “You’ve come a long way baby!!!” are written by her. “I give thanks to God for blessed you with sixty wonderful years, full of dreams that you have come true, new dreams that are on the horizon, and the opportunity to assist a great number of people along the way. God has a great deal more in store for you, provided that you continue to travel in the direction of His plan. To be a part of 42 of those years is something that I am extremely proud of, and I love you to bits. I hope you have a wonderful birthday, my love!
As they stood on the deck of the yacht, which was decked out with beautiful birthday balloons, Cookie and Magic appeared to be full of joy and love for one another. In addition to Magic’s oldest son Andre, the couple’s children, Earvin Jr. (also known as EJ) and Elisa, were present during the festivities to celebrate with their father.On this particular day, Magic claims that the most precious gift he has received is the presence of his family, despite the fact that he is surrounded by a multitude of presents and pleasures. When I became sixty years old, the only thing I wanted more than anything was for my family to be there to celebrate with me. He captioned the photo of their family group that was posted on Instagram, saying, “I am so happy that my sons Andre and EJ, daughter Elisa, daughter-in-law Lisa, and my beautiful wife Cookie are all with me today.”He made it a point to express his gratitude to his wife for making his day that much more memorable. The author expresses his gratitude by writing, “A huge thank you to my queen Cookie for putting everything together.” For more than four decades, I haven’t stopped loving you and being in love with you!
It should come as no surprise that Magic’s birthday dinner was nothing less than wonderful. It was a vintage shot of him playing basketball that was placed on top of his birthday cake, which was white and three-tiered.
