Marcus Smart was injured during Tuesday’s game.

The Memphis Grizzlies play the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night in California. 

Marcus Smart, the 2022 Defensive Player of the Year, was hurt during the game and was taken to the locker room. 

Smart has three points, one rebound, one assist, one steal, and two blocks in eight minutes while shooting 33% from the field and 50% from three-point range.

Smart landed on Austin Reaves’ foot, injuring his left ankle. Sources tell ESPN that he is unlikely to return.
