The Denver Nuggets lost to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, but Nikola Jokic made history. Jokic became the youngest NBA player with 13,000 points, 6,000 rebounds, and 4,000 assists.
Jokic shattered LeBron James’ record of 29 years and 82 days by reaching these records before his 29th birthday.
Passing LeBron James on any list is important, particularly an age list. James started dominating the NBA at 19, making him the youngest player reach nearly every significant statistical milestone. James is the exception to many things in that he joined the league so young and so excellent.
One reason Jokic is the finest player in the world is his scoring, playmaking, and glass domination. Jokic became the first NBA player to lead a playoff run in points, rebounds, and assists last season.
In a difficult defeat for Denver on Wednesday, Jokic made history again.
