Zhuri Nova, the daughter of LeBron James and Savannah James, turns nine today!
The James family celebrated her birthday on Sunday by posting sweet birthday tributes on Instagram.
“Happy Bday My Princess Z,” LeBron, 38, captioned his carousel of photos. “Love you ️ and more!!! 🤎🤎🤎🤎.” Zhuri was smiling in front of a multi-colored balloon backdrop with a “Happy Birthday,” light, according to the father-of-three’s post.
The second photo showed a happy Zhuri in an arcade, while the third was a close-up of LeBron’s daughter sticking her tongue out and making a peace sign to the camera.
“Happy Birthday to my favorite girl!!,” Savannah, 37, captioned a video of her daughter chatting in a pink chair. “I can’t believe my baby is 9 #ZhuriNova,” she sweetly added.
In 2013, high school sweethearts LeBron and Savannah married at the Grand Del Mar resort in San Diego. In addition to Zhuri, they have two sons, LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., 19, and Bryce Maximus, 16.
On Sunday, Bronny shared photos of his sister on his Instagram story, writing, “lil sis day happy birthday z love youuu,” as she sat in a cardboard box next to the family’s pet dog, Indigo. He then posted a selfie with his younger sister with the caption “libra sznnnnnn.”
Bronny went into cardiac arrest during a basketball practice at the University of Southern California in July.
“Thanks to the swift and effective response by the USC athletics’ medical staff, Bronny James was successfully treated for a sudden cardiac arrest,” the center said at the time. “He arrived fully conscious, neurologically intact, and stable at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.” Mr. James was promptly cared for by highly trained staff and was discharged home, where he is currently resting.”
Bronny was later diagnosed with a “anatomically and functionally significant congenital heart defect” before successfully undergoing surgery.
The athlete has since recovered and even danced at USC’s annual HoopLA event, which marked the start of the new college basketball season on Thursday. He is expected to resume his basketball career.
